He was born in Thessaloniki and graduated from the School of Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

 

He completed his residency in Ophthalmology in UK (Hospitals of University of Glasgow and University of Birmingham).

 

He became Fellow in Pediatric Ophthalmology – Strabismus (children & adults) & Neuro-Ophthalmology in the Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology – Strabismus at the Children’s Eye Hospital, University Hospital of Birmingham, UK.

 

He became Fellow in Pediatric Ophthalmology – Strabismus (children & adults) & Neuro-Ophthalmology at the Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology – Strabismus of the University Eye Hospital of Birmingham (Birmingham Eye Centre, University of Birmingham), UK.

 

Became Director of the Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology – Strabismus – Neuroophthalmology, at the Eye Department of Hippocration Hospital of Thessaloniki, Greece.
