He was trained in clinical and pediatric optometry at the School of Optometry, University of Bradford, U.K.
He became Fellow optometrist in pediatric optometry – orthoptics at Pediatric Ophthalmology of Greece (ICO certified training center in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus).
